Jemma, Stockport Grammar School
I’ve wanted to drive for a long time but never had the courage to do so, after a lot of deliberation and persuasion by my sons I decided to take the plunge and book my first lesson with Andy at Four Wheels Driving School. I am a more mature learner driver and realised it would take me a little longer to pick things up. I didn’t have any idea about the inside of a car, only as a passenger, but on my first lesson I actually moved the car. I can’t tell you how that felt to me. I have been a very nervous learner driver to say the least but Andy has always given me confidence. He has lots of patience and believe you me I have tested this on numerous occasions. He is very astute and realises very quickly your weaknesses and when you need a moral booster. He never seems to tire on how many times he goes over things with you and is never patronising. He offers loads of encouragement and if I am not sure of anything I never feel that I cannot ask him about it. Andy has a good sense of humour (which is often needed), very caring and is always very professional. I would like to think that I could call him a friend and would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone wanting to learn to drive (young or older).
